01. Philosophy

To pause is the beginning of noticing.

Evara is an invitation to step away from the pace of the everyday and into a gentler rhythm. One shaped by the presence of nature and a return to oneself.

An introduction

Helen Valleau in a garden, arms raised towards sunlight filtering through the leaves

My name is Helen Valleau. My relationship with movement, art and the contemplative arts began at an early age. Having studied art history and ballet from the age of seven, I grew up with an appreciation for the discipline, expression and beauty found in both art and the human body. When I eventually decided not to pursue professional dance, my father encouraged me to explore yoga alongside my love of movement. What began as a complement to dance gradually became a lifelong practice and a deeper personal journey.

I received my first yoga certification in Ashtanga Yoga and continued my studies through Yin Yoga, sound healing and various meditation practices. Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of teaching yoga between Peru and Palm Beach, experiences that have allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds and walks of life. I currently reside in Europe, where a new chapter of life has invited me into a deeper relationship with solitude, creativity and the written word.

In recent years, I have found myself drawn increasingly towards writing, reflection and the quieter dimensions of personal practice. It has reminded me that stillness is not something we need to escape to find, but something we can learn to cultivate within ourselves.

“I have always been fascinated by flowers, their names, their symbolism and the quiet beauty they bring into our surroundings.”

I created this space as an invitation to pause. Through individually guided meditations, sound and contemplative practices, I hope to offer people a moment away from the constant stimulation of everyday life — an opportunity to reconnect with themselves, soften the nervous system and rediscover the value of simply being.

My approach is an intersection of art, ancient wisdom, movement and nature. I have always been fascinated by flowers, their names, their symbolism and the quiet beauty they bring into our surroundings. I believe that learning to notice the smallest details of the natural world can change the way we experience our own lives.

Ultimately, my intention is to create a personal and thoughtful experience where each session is shaped around the individual. A place to breathe, reflect, reconnect and allow a little more space for stillness.
